“On-time vaccination throughout childhood is essential because it helps provide immunity before children are exposed to potentially life-threatening diseases. Vaccines are tested to ensure that they are safe and effective for children to receive at the recommended ages.”
— The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Keeping all children healthy and safe is our number one goal! Children attending childcare in Pennsylvania must be up-to-date with immunizations. According to The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) “The diseases vaccines prevent can be dangerous, or even deadly. Vaccines reduce your child’s risk of infection by working with their body’s natural defenses to help them safely develop immunity to disease.” Annually, they release an immunization schedule. It is important to track and document your child’s vaccines.
